NBA Commish David Stern promised “substantial sanctions” after the San Antonio Spurs elected to sit their top players for tonight’s game vs. the Miami Heat. This is why they did it. 

David Stern talking out of his ass again. Spurs are currently 13-3, good enough for 2nd place in the West, and playing their 4th game in 5 nights. Sorry if you think resting players affects your TNT ratings NBA, but instead of interfering in a team’s operations yet again, how about you address the issue with your notoriously biased schedule makers?

PS. I’ve been watching this game all night, the Spurs are winning 76-73 heading into the 4th. I hope the Spurs win just to make the “substantial sanctions” threat look even stupider.
